This is the hardest thing to do of all. The waiting. The languishing. The writing.

Is it not time for voice responsive technology to take over the world by storm?

Should we not be talking to our computer by now to tell it what to do?

The writing. The typing. The incessant drum of keys. The constant rumble of thoughts being pounded in by the necessarily debilitating slowness of my fingers. Are sixty words per minute sufficient to curb the inflow of thoughts? Definitely not. Are they enough to filter out the rubbish? Probably so. But are they enough to seriously hinder them? It would seem so.

What is the way out to this seemingly impossible problem?

Become so good at typing that i can put ALL my thoughts into words? Definitely not an option. I would be underestimating myself if i even thought for a fraction of a second that it was possible.

Think so slow that i can type all my thoughts? Another impossibility since it would be a big hindrance to the flow if i stem the tide.

Somewhere in between? That is, think slow enough and type fast enough?

Is that what I am doing right now? 😉
